PCB is the heart of all the electronic devices and you should be very careful when it comes to its quality!
Here are 3 useful tips that you should not miss out while choosing the right PCBs for your devices.
- STANDARDS
Before placing your order to a PCB manufacturer, make sure that they follow the IPC and other related quality control standards. IPC is the Global Association for Electronics Manufacturing that helps OEM’s, PCB Manufacturers and other electronics industry suppliers to manufacture and supply quality electronic products
2. QUALITY CHECKS
Make sure that your manufacturer runs adequate and necessary quality checks and inspections, (both manually and with automated inspection equipment), before delivering you the finished product. Also, ensure that they follow the ISO regulations for quality control processes and risk management. It is important to store and document each and every inspection result, as it might be useful for your future reference as well as the PCB Manufacturer
3. FUNCTIONAL WORKSPACE
While choosing your manufacturer, make sure that, they have a well-developed infrastructure and capability to do all the processes involved in manufacturing the PCBs at their own facility. They should have the up-to-date machineries and enough man power to take care of them.
